Would this position, then, have a positive impact on increased food consumption and healthier diets? I believe so.

Home delivery restaurants can be a good opportunity for food and health justice if restaurants are required to serve all of their food on the premises and if they are serving healthier food, reducing the use of ingredients that are high in fat and/or salt, and if they are making their food fresh

Healthy food and healthy eating have been part of healthy living lifestyles for years, and the home delivery model can provide consumers with healthier options and improve nutrition. However, a new and growing concern is that the home delivery model is also potentially enabling big food companies to market untaxed snacks to young consumers.

Secondly, if consumers purchase food through home delivery restaurants, they can be sure that they are purchasing food that will not have been shipped in from long-distance and may potentially be of lower quality than food purchased at a conventional grocery store. The challenge of ensuring that food served in home delivery restaurants is safe and of high quality is an important one, since consumers have no way to know which food items have been shipped in from long-distance or are produced locally. Secondly, home delivery restaurants are potentially less harmful to the health of customers than traditional food service models. Since home delivery does not involve external food preparation, it can minimize the use of food-related chemicals and provide safer options for food and beverages.One other thing that I believe home delivery can do is make it easier for consumers to buy nutritious food.
